Head of School Recruitment
Dr. Alexander Lindon-Morris is Head of School Recruitment at Intergreat Education Group (IEG), where he has led the placement of Chinese international students into the UK's leading independent and boarding schools since April 2015. With over a decade of hands-on experience, he oversees the full journey from initial assessment through to school entry and beyond, advising families on school selection, designing personalised academic preparation programmes, and maintaining close working relationships with registrars, admissions officers, and headteachers across the country's top institutions. Alex's route into the field is distinctive. Taught in his formative years by the current Headmaster of Eton College, he went on to read Economic and Social History at the University of Manchester before completing a TESOL qualification and relocating to Shenzhen, where he spent five years at China-UK College preparing students for entry to leading London independent schools. That direct classroom and advisory experience in China gave him an understanding of Chinese students and their families that few practitioners in the UK can match. Since returning to the UK, Alex completed a Doctorate in Education (EdD) at UCL, researching the experiences of Overseas Students from Mainland China in British boarding schools. His research examined the cultural, social, and academic challenges these students face, and continues to inform both his advisory practice and IEG's broader approach to student support. He also serves as a co-opted governor at The Windsor Boys' School, giving him a valuable perspective on school leadership and governance that enriches the advice he provides to families. It is a combination of academic rigour, lived professional experience, and genuine insight into how schools work from the inside that sits at the heart of everything he does at IEG.
