Setup a VPN on a PC or a Mac

Setup a VPN on an iOS or an Android

 

PC/Mac setup

Step 1 - Download Outline Client

- Go to https://getoutline.org/

- Click Get Outline

- Click Get Outline Client

- Choose your desired platform (PC, Mac, iOS or Android)

- Click the Get Outline Client button

 

Step 2 - Install Outline Client 

- Open the downloaded file and follow the wizard to finish the setup

 

 

Step 3 - Add a VPN server and connect

- Open Outline client

- Click the + button (on the top right of the screen)

- Copy the following access key and paste it to the application:

Hong Kong location:

ss://Y2hhY2hhMjAtaWV0Zi1wb2x5MTMwNTp3Tkhpcmw2VTVhZGc2bmlwOHVEV2Rk@47.242.75.168:31084/?outline=1

Chengdu location:

ss://Y2hhY2hhMjAtaWV0Zi1wb2x5MTMwNTpOdkhWNWVxZmhyRlRuNzZEaHN4YTRw@47.108.228.193:24607/?outline=1

- Click Add server button

- [Optional] Rename it to IEG HK VPN or IEG CD VPN

- Click the Connection button, wait for a few seconds until the button shows Disconnect then you're connected to the VPN

- When you don't need access to the VPN, click the Disconnect button

 

 

iOS/Android setup

Step 1 - Install Outline app

- Go to App Store or Play Store

- Search for Outline App

- Install the app

 

Step 2 - Add a VPN server

- Open the browser Safari or Chrome

- Open this link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/outline-vpn/invite.html#ss%3A%2F%2FY2hhY2hhMjAtaWV0Zi1wb2x5MTMwNTpFaU9Sc25PZzZZUWs%3D%4047.242.146.49%3A32951%2F%3Foutline%3D1

- Click the Connect this device button

- Copy the access code

- Open the Outline app

- Click the + button on the top right of the screen

- Paste the access key

- Click Add server button

- Click the Connection button, wait for a few seconds until the button shows Disconnect then you're connected to the VPN

- When you don't need access to the VPN, click the Disconnect button
